What is CallTym?
CallTym is an AI-powered shoot-day management platform for film and television productions. After a call sheet is prepared, it helps production publish the plan, collect confirmations, and run the day on web and mobile.
Who is CallTym for?
Production houses, producers, line producers, production managers, and coordinators use CallTym to run the shoot. Artists and crew sign in after production adds them to a project.
What happens when I import a call sheet versus a script?
A call-sheet PDF creates scenes, maps cast, and opens an editable draft. A script PDF creates scenes and links actors so you can add those scenes to a new call sheet.
Do drafts use call-sheet credits?
No. Drafts, edits, and PDF imports do not use credits. Publishing a call sheet uses one credit from your production house balance.
Does CallTym process payments?
No. CallTym records payment information your team logs, such as BATTA or invoices. It does not transfer money. Artists confirm in the app when they receive payment.
Can artists message production or each other?
Artists can reply to messages from production or the system. They cannot start conversations with production or other artists.
How are crew notified when a call sheet is published?
Publish sends email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app, and push notifications. If you edit and republish, everyone is notified again.
Can crew submit transport and meal preferences?
Yes. On a published call sheet, artists submit pickup, drop-off, and meal preferences. Production reviews and acknowledges each request from the call sheet.
How does AI help with budgets and expenses?
Generate Budget reads the call sheet and scenes to propose line items. You can attach receipt photos and AI fills in expense details against your budget lines.
How do I get more call sheets after the trial?
Request a paid plan. We quote customized pricing based on your production. Production admins can open Billing & credits anytime and submit the request.
Is CallTym GDPR / ISO 27001 / PCI DSS certified?
CallTym is hosted on infrastructure that is GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and PCI DSS v4.0.1 compliant. CallTym itself is not a certified compliance program.
Are scripts used to train AI?
Scripts are used only to extract scenes for your production. CallTym does not use them to train AI models.
